Literary Proxemics: Mapping Space in Classical and Modern Indian Poetry.

Delighted to share that my article “Literary Proxemics: Mapping Space in Classical and Modern Indian Poetry” has been published in the Journal of Asian Art, Culture and Literature (JAACL)- December edition by the Asian Literary Society.

My sincere thanks to Manoj Krishnan for the opportunity. Researching and writing on literary proxemics—one of my favourite areas of inquiry as a poet—was an enriching and exhilarating experience. Exploring how space, silence, and placement function across classical and contemporary Indian poetry allowed a curious poet to ruminate, share knowledge and perspectives. Absolutely fascinating! 🙂

I invite you to read this piece along with many other insightful articles featured in the journal.
