Last week was an wonderful period of learning, I had the good fortune of participating in the literary workshop organized by Rama Mehta Trust in Udaipur from the 20th to the 23rd of July. The intensive academic workshop was an amazing experience. We had the opportunity to be mentored by exceptional writers and authors- Padamshree Dr. C.P. Dewal (Rajasthani), Dr. Anupama Mohan (English), Dr. Ghazanfar Ali (Urdu), and Dr. Prabhat Ranjan (Hindi). An occasion to share our work, receive feedback from peers, mentors and hone our writing skills.
The workshop for women writers was a part of the Rama Mehta Writing Grant 2023 and was conducted in four languages, English, Hindi, Urdu, and Rajasthani.
Readings, book discussions, and insights into different facets of literature kept us enthralled with the magic of word worlds. An important reminder that learning never ends! I met talented writers and had a great time making new friends from across the country and Rajasthan. This is an experience that will always be cherished as it somehow changed my way of looking at the world as well as the world of literature! There is so much to learn!
Thanks to the Rama Mehta Trust and special thanks to Priyanka Sarkar for the beautiful and enriching experience.
